An Open Gardens event held in Leamington Spa attracted over 200 visitors to two gardens that opened their doors to the public.
The event, organised in partnership with the National Garden Scheme, raised nearly £600 for Blood Cancer Research and Patient Support by offering teas, coffees and plants for sale – primarily sunflowers!
Quite an achievement, especially considering the challenges posed by the dry spring affecting all our gardens. Special thanks to Steve and Vicky Bell, and Ian and Viv Roberts for their hard work and outstanding fundraising efforts.
