We returned to the NEC in Birmingham (12th – 15th June) for our third year at Gardeners’ World Live, once again benefiting from the amazing support of Jack Moody Landscaping and Hollybush Garden Centre.
This year, we had the privilege of joining an elite group of gardeners by transitioning from a small border garden to a Showcase Garden.
Planning for the garden began in 2024, with the incredible Hannah Thomas providing the creativity, ideas, and design. After months of preparation and three weeks of intensive hard and soft landscaping, our “Sunflower Power” garden was ready. Judging took place on Wednesday, June 11 with a panel of BBC experts and we were thrilled to receive the top PLATINUM award. Our joy was further amplified on Sunday when we won the People’s Choice Award for Best Showcase Garden, as determined by visitor votes.
Throughout the four days of the show, we received thousands of wonderful comments about our garden, with many visitors touched by its beauty, tranquillity, and significance. So much hard work, effort, dedication, and love went into this project, and we hope you all enjoyed it. The show raised over £4,000 for Beth’s Sunflowers.
