Beth’s Sunflowers receive so much local support and we want to take a moment to thank you all – without you all we wouldn’t be able to raise the vital funds we need to support Cure Leukaemia and a Gift to Lift and the vitally important work they do – it means the world to us and everyone affected by bloody cancer.

The Park Tavern, Wall Heath has been a long-time supporter of Beth’s Sunflowers and has, since the beginning, always been a focal point for raising community funds for our charity work. As part of their continued support ‘The Tav’ has, this year, embarked on a pub wide sunflower growing competition. CCTV has been installed, security has been tightened around the budding seedlings and there is all to play for – who will be their first ever tallest sunflower winner? Watch this space!

Olive Branch Café, New Life Church, Wall Heath – as one of their charity partners for this year, the lovely staff and volunteers at the ‘Olive Branch Café’ situated in the New Life Church in Wall Heath held a charity coffee morning for Beth’s Sunflowers. Not only did we raise £170, but we also got to spend the morning in their beautiful café, sampling their scrumptious cakes and food delights!

Holy Trinity Church, Wordsley invited Beth’s Sunflower’s to take part in their annual charity Christmas Tree Festival. So, in December 2023, with every inch of our tree decorated in Sunflowers and our Beth’s Sunflower’s Journey book and donations pot, we headed off to the festival and over the event raised a massive £200 in generous donations from all who attended.
