Walk of Light 2026

Walk of Light 2026 3 Beths Sunflowers

On Wednesday, March 25th, a day that brought ice-cold winds, rain, hail and rainbows, 160 brave and inspiring folk and doggies gathered at Cot Lane Park, Kingswinford, to join in our 3km or 5km Memory, Wall of Light around Kingswinford and Wordsley.

All dressed in yellow, pink, high-visibility clothing and as flowerpot men, everyone was adorned with twinkling lights and beautiful messages remembering their loved ones.

The charity walk raised over £2000, which will support blood cancer research and provide counselling, respite and support services to patients currently fighting the disease.

A huge thank you to the volunteers who helped us run the event, Blood Cancer UK, Panoramica-UAS for the fabulous drone footage, Rachel Bock for the incredible warm-up routine, Pertemps Black County for providing us with marshals, and Will-Hire in Stourbridge for the free hire of the outdoor lights.

This is our second year of organising the walk, and it will now become a regular annual event in our calendar. See you all next year. Here’s a few photos from the walk.
