We’re really excited to share some special news with you – Beth’s Sunflowers is launching its very first Local Support Group for blood cancer patients, their families and friends.
This group is something very close to our hearts. Right now, there are no specialist blood cancer support groups locally for people to access information, share experiences, or just have an open chat with others who truly understand. We want to change that.
Our new group will provide a safe, welcoming space where you can drop in, talk to people going through similar journeys, and get support from professionals who are here to help.
When & where?
Our first meeting will take place on:
Wednesday 22nd October 2025
12 PM – 4 PM (drop in anytime, stay as long as you like)
Evoca, Prime Point, Mark Binner Way, Pensnett Trading Estate, Kingswinford, DY6 7TY
We’re so grateful to our friends at Evoca for hosting us. They’ve kindly offered us their wonderful office space – including a spacious mock-up coffee shop area – completely free of charge. Even better, they’ll be providing complimentary coffee too ☕✨
Who will be there?
We’ve pulled together an amazing team who will be at the group to offer practical and emotional support, including:
- Specialist blood cancer nurses & charity representatives
- Citizens’ Advice advisors to help with financial and benefits guidance
- Well-being service providers to support emotional health and self-care
- Guest speakers, including inspirational blood cancer warriors sharing their stories
Why this matters
We know how important it is to feel supported, to ask questions, and to simply talk to others who understand what you’re going through. This group is all about making sure no one feels alone in their blood cancer journey.
